Die Weisse - Wirtshaus

The Salzburg brewery Die Weisse is Austria's oldest wheat beer brewery and a vibrant piece of city history. Since 1901, wheat beers have been brewed in an innovative way and of the highest quality in the Schallmoos district – characterful, authentic, and with great care. Naturally, the freshly brewed specialties are served directly in the in-house tavern, where brewing art and hospitality form a harmonious unity.

In the traditional parlors and the inviting beer garden unfolds that special atmosphere for which Salzburg is so cherished: warm, sociable, and enjoyable. Here, craft-brewed beer meets regional cuisine – accompanied by genuine tavern culture that has been nurtured for generations. Whether for an enjoyable break, a relaxed lunch, or a social evening – Die Weisse is a place where tradition remains alive and every visit becomes an authentic Salzburg experience.
