Mozart Week 2027: The Other Mozart - Drama in English
Mozart & “Mozarts” is the motto of the Mozart Week 2027. It is indeed interesting how many composers have been compared to Mozart – and some of these composers we would like to introduce to you during this Mozart Week. François Devienne, Joseph Bologne, Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, and Joseph Martin Kraus will be at the center of this year's diverse program alongside the Genius Loci.
The Other Mozart - The Forgotten Story of Mozart’s Genius Sister
The award-winning play tells the true, forgotten story of "Nannerl" Mozart, the sister of Wolfgang Amadé, who performed as a child prodigy, piano virtuoso, and composer alongside her brother throughout Europe, celebrated just as he was, yet whose life and work faded into the obscurity of history.
The theater artist, playwright, and actress Sylvia Milo delivers a breathtaking solo performance in the piece she conceived herself.
