Two cult bands of the Salzburg post-punk era unite for an evening full of energy and catchy melodies.
At Rockhouse, two bands will perform, whose musical roots date back to the rebellious Salzburg post-punk scene of the late 1980s. The Jekyl & Hyde Park Band and Grovers Mill both stem from the formation "In The Bend End Band" and are closely tied to the emergence of Rockhouse as a cultural space. Grovers Mill represents the raw energy of post-punk and alternative guitar rock, which shaped the counter-movement against the glossy culture of the Mozart city—loud, political, and unrefined. Both bands embody a continuity that still serves as a reference for younger music creators today.
