The opera Agamemnon, based on the work of the Roman philosopher Seneca, transports the audience into a world marked by violence and revenge. The plot examines the psychological motives behind this bloody act and spans a family history burdened by atrocities. The libretto by Alexander von Pfeil is based on the Latin original, while the composer Vid Ožbolt created a contemporary, full-length opera in five acts. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
